CorKey Cards: POWERCARD™

As CorKey business is Key Control, its major product is the patented CorKey Card that powers the locks. One type is formed of Stainless Steel containing the POWERCORE. It is so durable it carries a Ten Year Guarantee. A similar card is made of plastic and can be personalized with special printing. The internal coding is permanent but with CorKey encoding equipment, available to users, it can be modified countless times. "CorKey Systems" excel in complex Masterkeying as required for Hotels, a SINGLE CorKey Card could master over FOUR BILLION differently coded locks.

CorKey Locks:

Designed for simple quick installation, some CorKey locks retrofit to existing locksets already installed, some are complete locksets. All can contain the patented “TriSec™" feature which, in addition to the single permanent code of the lock, provides sixteen independent sub-codes that can be changed from OUTSIDE the lock to eliminate cards from use in the lock. more>>

2000 Series

2000 Series: Xtronic

Previously only sophisticated and costly electronic computerized locks could change their code when a data card was inserted but as CorKey cards contain sufficient power to directly actuate their locks, the XTRONIC 2000 POWERCARD alone powers and programs the XTRONIC 2000, without batteries; wiring; complex electronics; or computers. This makes the XTRONIC 2000 System affordable by ALL Hotels and Motels. It is excellent for replacing existing locks as installation by hotel staff can take less than 5 minutes a door. more>>

1000 Series

1000 Series: Lever Handle Lockset

Incorporating the Trisec with the lever handle, this lockset is suited for accommodation, and universities. As with all the mechanical Corkey locksets, the slot is positionable to the top, bottom or to the side. more>>

700 Series

700 Series:

Designed for use on narrow stile aluminium and glass doors, the 700 Series has become popular for all door applications. The housing is fixed in position either slot up, down or to the side. Mounted with the slot down it is excellent for external use in harsh environments. Model 701K pictured, features a free-spinning knob that is engaged to retract the latch when the CorKey card is inserted. A key hold-in feature allows one-hand operation. Rear knob can always unlock the door. Model 701H is the same but has handles both sides. Model 706 adapts to Rim Locks, Model 704 operates deadbolts. more>>

800 Series

600 and 800 Series:

Heavy Duty 600 Series Grade I and Commercial Grade II 800 Series Cylindrical Locksets with CorKey lock as the front knob. Inserted CorKey is held-in, and turning the knob unlocks the door. Card Slot returns to original position when card removed in Entrance, Hotel and Storeroom Functions. Slot can be positioned at top, bottom or to the side. Rear knob always unlocks door. Fits standard door holes. Replaces similar types of locks in 3 minutes. Available in several finishes and lock Functions: Model 600 & 800 Hotel; Model 601 & 801 Entrance/Office; Model 602 & 802 Storeroom and Model 604 & 804 Classroom. more>>

500 Series

500 Series:

Not a complete lockset, but a CorKey Cylinder that instantly replaces standard metal keyed mortise cylinders without disassembly of the lock. When locked, CorKey knob free-spins. Key held-in when inserted, then turning knob retracts latch and can extend or retract separate deadbolt. Model 500 fits most mortise locks with round threaded cylinder holes. Model 550 is the Hotel function for Guest Rooms. It features a novel over-ride method for management to enter rooms that have been double-locked. The 500 Series also is adapted to surface module Rim Locks as a Rim Cylinder suitable also for panic locks. The Model 501 for panic exit devices locks in the CorKey until the lock is returned to unlocked mode; so the door cannot be left unlocked by a user. Unlocking key allows door to be left unlocked. more>>

300 Series

300 Series:

The original Card Key Lock of the 1940's was a Card-Operated electric switch and there is much demand for these models today in Alarm Systems; to actuate electric door releases; automatic doors; for elevator control to selected floors or to call the elevator to a floor; and for vehicle entry through gates or into garages. CorKey provides many types such as: Round Housing Model 300S for surface mounting through the walls and the Model 301 for mounting on the surface of a wall (both pictured) and other switch locks for Energy Saving in hotel rooms, Flush mounted into a wall, and Post mounted for vehicle entry control. more>>

Deadbolts and Deadlatches, both single and double cylinder featuring heavy duty housing, key-hold-in and, free-spinning knobs. Most popular models are Model 400F Single Cylinder Deadbolt; Model 485F Double Cylinder Deadbolt and Model 400R Rim Locks. more>>
